Our goal at Lakewood Christian Homecare is to provide a safe, comfortable and loving environment for our clients. We believe that our clients are not only residents in our care, but special guests who are entitled to exceptional courtesy and kindness. When you have to make the difficult decision of trusting your loved one’s care to someone else, you can be sure that they will be cared for by our carefully selected and professional caregivers. Lakewood Christian Homecare provides loving, personalized care in grooming, dressing, and all of your loved one’s needs. Our facility is headed by my eldest son, Michael Furniss, who is the administrator. Mike has also been a registered nurse since 1985. He has worked 13 years as a charge nurse in emergency departments, as a flight nurse on the helicopter, and as a mobile intensive care nurse on the ambulance in the Redding area for the past eleven years. His excellent nursing skills are an additional asset to our facility. Our ambition is to provide a family setting and to have our clients and their loved ones feel comfortable, for this is their home away from home.
